About WEDO Canada

WEDO Canada

Canada recently joined the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) global initiative with the creation of the WEDO Canada Advisory Board. This non-profit organization is working to harness the power of women in business to be catalysts of change and to foster an environment to inspire, connect, and empower women entrepreneurs across the country. Canada is increasingly being recognized as a leader in women’s entrepreneurship, yet women continue to face barriers when accessing financial, entrepreneurial, and social capital. WEDO Canada believes that to truly achieve our full economic potential, we need women to reach theirs.
